Ella's Ice Cream Party

Ella's request for the cake - plain pink and for her to be the one who got to put the candles on!

Kids lining up for ice cream.  Ella had picked out strawberry, chocolate, mango, and cantalope and I made blueberry and avocade frozen yogurt that no kids would try.  :)

 Ella asked Daddy to juggle.

This is one of the sweet cards a friend gave Ella.

Pretending

"Mama, I'm homeschooling my kids!"

I guess this is the equivalent to a kid in school playing teacher!

Expat 4th of July

Crafts with American friends in the morning...Australian friends over for dinner!

Craft Party

My mom often has friends over to quilt.  After hearing about one of Gramma's parties Ella asked if she could host one of her own craft parties.  She arranged the living room and organized all kinds of craft supplies (paper, paint, yarn, beads, rainbow looms...).  We had 5 friends over and I think everyone had a good time!

Honey Tasting

On one of L's recent soil excursions, he met a bee keeper who taught him how to do a honey tasting.  He bought two new types of honey for us to try and we compared it with the type we normally buy.  So fun!

Buried Treasure

This little area is in the apartment complex where the girls go to preschool.  We have had many picnics with school friends here...sweet times for mamas to talk and the kids to play...often pretending to look for buried treasure.  And, when some of these friends moved earlier this summer they buried real treasure for Ella and Addy to find!  It was one of the most thoughtful presents possible.

R Fam...
Addy says, "THANK YOU!  And, thank you too, Tikva and David.  I love it so super much."
Ella says, "I love the treasure so much.  Thank you."
