First Day of Kindergarten

 Heading upstairs to our new homeschool room.  For the last few weeks the girls and I have been trying to transform Daddy's old recording studio/our total junk room into a workable homeschool room.  Its not pinterest-pretty but the three of us LOVE it!  Ella wanted to make a K for kindergarten which I thought was adorable.

 Working on her math worksheet - she said that math was her favorite part of the day.  We are using Saxon Kindergarten.

Ella started kindergarten today!  Although we have been doing homeschool activities for the past 2 years, this year will be much more structured and scheduled.  I'm incredibly excited!

Pottytraining

First day...I spread out all her potty training things so she would find them in the morning.

FIAR Madeline Playdate

 

 

One of my good friends is beginning to do FIAR with her girls so for our last playdate we decided to incorporate some of that.  We had so much fun reading the book, listening to French music, making a Madeline doll and making peanut butter and jelly crepes!!!!

Addy also has some but is still wanting to stick with her tricycle for now!  But, Ella is LOVING her rollerblades!

Swimming

 Addy and one of her best buds swimming in our rooftop pool!  In the background we have eggplant, beans, and fruit trees.

 My rose garden...it may not look like much but all my vases have been overflowing with roses all summer!  I love it (it was my Mother's Day present).

 None of the apartment buildings in the last two pictures were there when we first moved here!
