Trip to Plant Market

Look How They've Grown!

The last picture was taken in October and above are my unsuccessful attempts to recreate it!  You can still see how much Adelaide has grown in the last few months.  Love those chubby arms!

Ella's Debut

Today we had a little fun upstairs with some recording. Click here to download a compilation of songs that Ella sang acappella!

Who Says SAHMs Have An Easy Job?

This week I walked down a flight of stairs carrying Ella in one hand and a specimen cup full of urine in the other.

If you had seen the bathroom this little journey started in you would be even more impressed.

I'm just saying...

Adelaide Being Cute

Adelaide is really close to rolling over from back to front.  She loves playing with her feet these days.

Adelaide's First Solid Food

Poor babies...those first few bites of solid food are so unappealing and Daddy videos, Mama laughs and Big Sister is waiting in the wings to eat the rest of it.

Adelaide's First Finger Painting

Unfortunately my attempts to take a picture of Adelaide finger painting while holding her didn't work out as well as I would have liked so hopefully next time L will be around to take the pictures, but we did have a lot of fun!  Ella squeezed the paint onto the paper and Adelaide painted.  She seemed to enjoy it until she accidentally got paint all over her face and then she decided she was finished.

Girls Waking Up

The girls are always happy to see each other when they wake up.  Ella often wants for Adelaide to sit in her bed with her and she thought it was especially fun this morning that they were both wearing pink pajamas.

Making Noodles

A few days ago some friends came over to teach me to make noodles.  It was SO much fun...and so much harder than it looks!

Rolling Over

Adelaide started rolling over this week!  This is a series of videos I took a couple of afternoons ago so that you can see her progress.  We're all so proud!

One Thing I Love About Having Little Girls...

...a laundry room full of pink and two great little helpers!

Fireworks!

The afternoon was unseasonably warm so the girls and I took a walk to see the massive fireworks displays.  This is my fourth Spring Festival and I'm still amazed at the massive amounts of fireworks that are lit in the middle of the city (our city has a population of over 8 million)!  In the past the late night fireworks haven't been a problem because Ella slept through them (and Adelaide still does) but this year they are waking her up.  She wakes up crying and usually says, "There are fireworks in my bed!"
